The conversation

Humanix is a conversation now. Instead of choosing a mode and working through tabs, you have one thread. It asks, you answer, and it decides what to ask next from what you said.

You ask for each question deliberately. Nothing arrives on its own, so you can close the tab mid-thread and the same question is waiting when you come back.

Your earnings, said plainly

The corner panel used to separate what you had earned into three, on the basis that accepted work only became money once a buyer had ordered it. That was the wrong rule and it has gone. There is one number now and it is everything you have earned.

When we accept a contribution we work out what it is worth and add that amount to your account. It is yours from that moment and the amount never changes, whatever the data licenses for later and whether or not it ever licenses at all.

Humanix pays contributors out of what it earns from licensing data to AI companies. Your earnings are paid when that revenue is there. We cannot give you a date. When we pay, we come to you, and you never have to ask.

Building your profile

How complete your profile is changes what an answer pays. Finish a tier and the same answer earns more afterwards.

Why we ask about your background

Where the conversation asks something about you rather than about a subject, there is a "Why am I asking this?" link under the question. It explains what the answer is used for. We ask about background only: never your name, your contact details, or anything that identifies you. Buyers never see who contributed.
